Transporting a destination wedding dress may appear challenging and potentially stressful, but it doesn't have to be! To ensure the safe arrival of your gown at your destination, we suggest two options: either keeping it with you in your carry-on or, even better, carrying it on board the airplane in a garment bag. Many airlines are accommodating to wedding couples and allow them to hang their special attire in the closet. It's advisable to contact the airline in advance to inquire about their specific policies and ensure a smooth journey.

Creating a guest list for a destination wedding can initially feel overwhelming. The question of how many people to invite and who should be included can be daunting. Destination weddings are known for having smaller guest lists compared to traditional weddings, typically consisting of the couple's closest friends and family members rather than distant relatives or former acquaintances. However, determining the actual number of attending guests can be more challenging due to travel requirements and financial commitments. While the general rule of thumb is the 80% rule, assuming that 80% of invited guests will attend, this rule becomes harder to apply for destination weddings. To gauge the level of commitment from each guest, we recommend surveying your guest list in advance. Additionally, providing ample notice and time for guests to plan for the festivities is crucial.  

The choice of where to have your hair and makeup done for your destination wedding will depend on your chosen venue. It is essential to consult with your Wedding Specialist and inquire about the offerings included in your wedding package. Many resorts provide on-site hair and makeup services for destination weddings, which can take place in various locations such as the bridal suite, beauty salon, or even your own guest room. Some all-inclusive resorts have bridal suites that can accommodate the entire wedding party, while others may be suitable for the bride and a VIP guest. We also work with outside vendors/salons who can travel to your hotel or venue to do your hair and makeup.
